Original era manufacture. Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet and metal scabbard. Kokura Hourglass markings. Blue original finish blade with fullers, hooked guard, flat bird head pommel and original finish contoured wood grips. Blue steel finish to the blade blending to steel patina at the point. Blue steel finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wood grips in good condition, showing a few minor dents from service use. Mix of blue and steel patina scabbard with no corrosion issues, one small dent towards the tip. Overall a very clean example.
