Original period manufacture. Straight guard, bird head pommel, blue finished blade. The blade is clean, retaining near 100% of it's original finish. Mix of blue and dark steel patina to the guard, pommel and dent-free steel scabbard. Four hand painted kanji in white on the tang. Original finish wooden grips, showing age darkening, but no chips or dents.
