Original era manufacture. straight guard, bird head pommel, contoured wood grips and a blue finished blade. The blade is quite clean with nearly all of its original finish intact. Sound wood grips showing some typical service denting to its surface. Blue steel scabbard which has been overpainted black long ago. The scabbard is clean but shows a few spots of surface denting. Square pommel with light surface corrosion. Very nice bayonet overall.
