Original period manufacture. Hooked guard, rounded bird-head pommel, blue finished blade made with fullers. The blade is clean, with nearly 100% original finish remaining. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, operable lock button. Original finish wood grips showing minor marring and denting from service use. Near dent free steel scabbard, with a mix of steel patina and surface corrosion finish.
