Original period manufacture. Typical pattern double loop suspension of dark brown leather with a steel strap securing buckle. The securing strap shows age and use, in fact it had broken at one point, and a previous owner attempted a repair by backing the strap with a thin piece of leather. This keeps the two sections together and when placed onto your scabbard should pretty much disappear.
