Original era manufacture. Standard Shanghai pattern hat in light olive cotton material. Japanese Navy Good Conduct insignia sewn where the anchor emblem normally would be. Numerous markings on the interior of the hat including the Navy issue stamp. Partial translation reads, Kureshimizu town-73798 with the name of Sugimoto Yazaburo.The hat shows age and wear, and was recently sent to us by our friend in Japan.
