Original era manufacture. One of the three types of Imperial Japanese wound badges of the WWII era. This example would have been presented to a soldier injured in public service, most often contracting a severe illness such as Malaria.e. Silver with a gold wash and an enameled obverse. Small amount of typically found age cracking in the enamel. With its original balsa wood box with a makers name inside the lid.
