Original era manufacture. One of the three types of Imperial Japanese wound badges of the WWII era. This example would have been presented to a soldier wounded in battle. Silver with an enameled obverse. Small amount of typically found age cracking in the enamel. With its original balsa wood box with a makers label inside the lid.
