Item #69878 : Original period manufacture. Purchased by me about five years ago at our local Phoenix militaria show, from an old friend. The grouping consists of a 9th Illinois Cavalry veterans medal, several reunion medals, and a very nice knees up image of George Allan Price wearing the 9th Illinois Cavalry medal. He served with the regiment from 1861 until 1865 seeing heavy action during the battles of Franklin and Nashville. Comes with a folio containing a good deal of history of Sergeant Price and his regiment.
