Item #51538 : Original period manufacture. A fine quality bronze medal from one of the lesser known post Civil War Veteran's Societies, Union Veterans Legion. Comprised of Union Veterans who volunteered for service prior to 1863 (pre-draft) and who served for at least two years. Produced for the 1918 encampment held in Zanesville Ohio. Wear to the ribbon as shown.
