Original era manufacture. This is a hard used example but retains a significant amount of coolness factor. 32 inch curved steel blade with a dark steel patina, numerous nicks in the cutting edge, most near the point. Interesting trademark on the ricasso, very similar to PDL being a helmet and sword logo. Etched floral panels on each side of the blade, obverse showing Toledo, reverse showing Ano D 1889. Steel basket hilt with a small fold-down portion on the reverse side. Fishskin wrapped grip with triple wire binding. Overall the sword shows considerable wear but retains a fair amount of charm. Perhaps a souvenir of the Punitive Expedition in 1916. No scabbard.
