Original era manufacture.Brass handled knife with a 7 inch curved steel blade showingstaining andspotting from age. We have made no attempt to clean this up, so a light bath should help out quite a bit. Intricate brass grip made of several sections which slip over the tang. Wood lined sheet brass scabbard with hand done surface decoration, a bit crumpled about 2 inches from the tip. Nice vintage patina. Thisknife was one of many souvenirs brought home to the US after the end of WWII by Corporal R.D.Easler, 3468th Ordnance Company, US Army.
