Original era manufacture. A nice quality dagger which I have seen referred to as the 1852 and 1950 pattern dagger, evidently by the fact that the eagle's head is crowned or not. Serial numbered 17740 on the obverse ricasso. Overall measurement is 15 inches with a 9.25 inch chromed steel blade. Very clean condition.
