Original era manufacture and photography. British made Battledress jacket dated 1945, and a British made black wool beret dated 1944, an unmarked black wool beret, five WWII medals, a Polish Armored unit badge, and 13 original black & white snapshots (most 2x3 inches) several with notations on the reverse. The issue beret has a BeVo style embroidered eagle handsewn to the body of the beret, with a single star indicating the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. The plain beret has a brown leather sweatband, also with a single rank star. The issue Battledress, displays POLAND arcs on each shoulder, with a machine embroidered dragon insignia in black on orange wool on the left sleeve. On each epaulette is a single star for a 2nd Lieutenant, and on each color point is a multi-piece construction Lance pennon in yellow and white. On the left chest are four ribbons for the Polish Army Medal, British 1939-1945 Star, British Defence Medal and 1939-1945 War Medal. The medal lot includes four full size examples of the aforementioned medals, and a theater made Polish armored insignia, which looks to be made from perhaps toothpaste tube material. It is done with a nice amount of care and detail, with a screwpost and brass attaching nut. Nine of the thirteen original photos have writing on the reverse, with references to Cairo and Iraq, and the dates ranging from 1939-1946. No mothing to mention, and the tunic has a whistle lanyard looped through the left epaulette.
