Original period manufacture.  An exquisite grouping of 17 pre-WWII, and WWII era European miniature orders and medals, all attributed to a Polish diplomat, Waclaw Przesmycki 1891-1973. The medal group consists of the following, 1. Polonia Restituta 2. Order of the Polish Republic, 3. Polish Service Medal, 4. Polish 10 Year Service Medal, 5. Polish 20 Year Service Medal, 6. Polish Silesian Star, 7. Estonian Order of the White Star, 8. Serbian Order of St. Sava, 9. Hungarian Order of Merit, 10. Latvian Order of the Three Stars, 11. Bulgarian Order of National Merit, 12. Spanish Order of Charles II, 13. Estonian Order of the Cross of the Black Eagle, 14. Spanish Order of the Republic, 15. Finland Order of the White Rose, 16. Polish Foreign Service Medal, 17. Polish Cross of Merit with Swords. The fourteen orders and three medals all exhibit excellent detail, with most of the orders displaying a proof mark on the suspension ring, or on their reverse. All are ring mounted to a black silk cord. The only enamel damage I observed was on the obverse of the St. Sava and the St. Charles, both being minor chips on the arms. The largest of the orders, no. 7, the Order of the White Star, measures 17 mm in width, the smallest, no. 11, Bulgarian National Merit 11 mm. Accompanying the miniatures are several documents and photographs dealing with the history of the diplomat, most are photo copies, with the correspondence dating back to 1979. The photo images are likely copies dating to the 1970's. We have priced the grouping irrespective of the accompanying documentation, as none of the orders or medals are named, or otherwise marked as his. A very beautiful set, some of these are probably fairly difficult to come by as miniatures.
