Original era manufacture. Battlefield relic helmet with an even surface corrosion finish, with holes in the crown and neckguard. The early style copper oval shaped plate is firmly attached to the helmet. Many examples of this helmet type have been recently recovered from the battlefields of the Eastern Front, to include the Stalingrad area.
