This is 1/6 plate Ruby Ambrotype with original glass, matt and preserver. Wonderful clarity and detail. This woman has her hair fashioned in an ornate manner. Her hat sits on the table next to her on top of a book and some paper items. She wears a nicely patterned dress and a silk patterned shawl. She must have a dark glove on one hand as you can't see it. Her cheeks are tinted red.
