Original era manufacture. A nice quality piece with a faux brass blade, which may have been intended for a child.Overall measurement is 9 inches, with a 4.25 inch pointed brass blade with a Celtic design on one side. The edges are unsharpened, but that point is rather worrisome, little Angus could certainly "poke" somebody without too much trouble.German silver grip collar, carved wooden grip which ends with what I believe to be a glass imitation of a Cairngorm stone, with a German silver setting.Black painted wood sheath with German silver fittings and imitation Cairngorm stones in the tops of the pockets for a knife and fork in the adult size dirk.Normal age and wear, nice patina to the metal fittings.
