This is a 1/6 Plate Tintype of a man casually seated at an angle. His hat rests on his leg, held inplace by his hand. The other hand is draped across the chair. His jacket has no collar. His tie has a pin in it and a nice design. The photographer used good lighting and a dark background to make his likeness stand out. He comes with glass, mat and preserver.
