Original era manufacture. Cut down blade from its original length, with a matching length scabbard, also shortened, with a soldered "waist" at its throat. Overall steel patina finish, clear BT3 marking on the ricasso. Simple wood grips withremnants of apainted number on one side. Pliable brown leather frog. Normal age and wear overall.
