Original era manufacture. Sterling silver medal with a gold applied hammer & sickle emblem, six digit serial number on its reverse 941182. Alloy screw disc on its reverse. WWII decoration which was worn with pride by its owner. No enamel damage to the star. Serial number range indicates an issue in 1945.
