Original era manufacture. Sterling silver medal with a gold applied hammer & sickle emblem, early six digit serial number on its reverse 714272. Silver screw disc on its reverse. WWII decoration which was worn with pride by its owner. No enamel damage to the star. Serial number range indicates an issue around September of 1945.
