Original era manufacture. A complete grouping of four numbered awards, and award record book, won by Viktor Sergeivich Stanislvenko, 3rd Mortar Company, Khmelinitsky Division, 2nd Ukrainian Front 1944. The award record book was issued in 1947, with entries for the following awards; Medal for Bravery, 1772699, Red Star 2239717, Red Star 3667089 and a 1985 version of the Patriotic War 2nd Class 5327021. All of the medals are made of silver, are free of enamel damage, with the Red Stars awarded in 1945, and post 1957 respectively.Included with the awards and record book, are copies of citations providing some details for the awarding of his Bravery Medal and 1st Red Star. English translations are provided on the reverse.Medal for Bravery....In difficult conditions, under the constant fire in the battle for the "Height 1400", on September 14, 1944. Provided a timely delivery of mines (shells) to his squad, which allowed to constant fire against the enemy and the successful deflection of the enemy's counterattacks.Red Star....In difficult conditions of the attacking battles during the winter time between January 21 and February 14, 1945, through the accurate fire from his mortar, eliminated 6 machine guns of the enemy, contributing to his infantry's moving ahead.In battles for the village of Sklyarovo, Mr Stanislavenko eliminated over 15 Hitler's occupants and subdued the enemy's machinegun fire, leading to the recapture of the village.
