Original period manufacture. A very sound example with its original leather liner and chinstrap intact. Loosely affixed to the front of the helmet is a removable brass eagle with a painted red cross. Developed by the Spanish Arsenal of Artillery and adopted in 1930. Used by Spanish forces for many years.
