Original era manufacture. A very well made bayonet with a double edged, polished steel blade, with a thin band of blue finish at the base of the blade. Proofed on the ricasso with a letter C and a Crown. Wooden grips showing typical marring from handling and service use. Most of the original blue finish remains to the dent-free scabbard, steel patinal finish on the pommel and guard. A very clean example, displaying typical age and wear.
