Original era manufacture. A very well made bayonet with a double edged, polished steel blade. The blade exhibits age staining along it's length, with evidence of an old sharpening to the cutting edge. The wood grips show typical marring from handling and service use, steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Matt gray finish to the dent-free steel scabbard, pommel and guard.
