Original era manufacture. Heavy cast brass hilt of French influence, with a massive 20 inch polished steel blade with a sawback edge. Swiss cross on the ricasso, no other markings present. The blade surface is very smooth, and displays an even patina finish. Dark brass patina finish to the grip with staining as shown, no damage. Black leather bodied scabbard with darkened brass throat and chape.
