Original era manufacture. A very sound example of this handsome bayonet made by SIG-Neuhausen. Bright polished steel blade with sawback spine, light staining from storage, no corrosion issues. Bright steel guard and pommel, again showing light staining from age only. Kielsling calls for leather grips, however these grip plates appear to be a dark brown bakelite, an interesting variation.Black leather bodied scabbard with polished steel throat and chape, all in sound condition, displaying light age staining to the surface.
