Original era manufacture. Massive sawback bayonet with a 19 inch steel blade and saw edge spine. Maker marked on the ricasso, Waffenfabrik, Neuhausen. The blade displays a bright steel finish with light age staining but no corrosion issues, bright and clean overall.Bright steel patina finish guard and pommel with sound wood grips, old cleaned corrosion staining to the pommel, no pitting.The scabbard is free of dents and has a blue finish with scattered areas of wear and very light surface corrosion staining.
