Original era manufacture. Massive sawback bayonet with a 19 inch steel blade and saw edge spine. Maker marked on the ricasso, Elsener Schwyz mfg. The blade displays a fairly bright steel finish with minor age staining, no corrosion issues, bright and clean overall. Mix of light surface speckling steel patina finish to the guard and pommel with sound original wooden grips.  The scabbard is free of dents and has a mix of blue and steel patina finish, the leather tab is intact.
