Item #68675 : Original period manufacture. Massive sawback bayonet with a 19 inch steel blade and saw edge spine. Maker marked on the ricasso Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. The blade displays a fairly bright steel finish with minor age staining, with no corrosion issues. Mix of surface speckling and staining, steel patina finish to the guard and pommel with sound original wooden grips, operable lock button. The scabbard shows some minor shallow denting, with some scattered surface corrosion and a blob of garage paint. Just needs a bath.
