Original period manufacture. Massive, Swiss made Pioneer bayonet, with a 19 inch polished steel blade with a sawback spine. The blade is bright and clean with a little bit of discoloration at the point. Sound original finish wooden grips, with a mix of polished steel and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel.Dent free blue steel finish scabbard with nearly 100% finish remaining, just a touch of very minor surface corrosion. Top quality Swiss manufacture.
