Original era manufacture. Molded black felt body, with composition, one piece front and rear visors. Simple black oilcloth sweatband, with  a thin leather chinstrap which is broken on one side.Crossed pick & shovel brass emblem on the front, with brass numbers 20 below. Above is  a stamped steel painted cockade in red and green.Normal age and wear.
