Item #67672 : Original period manufacture. A clean example featuring a 31 inch polished steel blade, with etched panels on each side of the blade and a floral etched design on the spine. Runs fairly straight and true, minor age staining with a few nail catcher nicks, more felt than seen. Heavy gilded brass guard with a lion head pommel with red glass eyes. Fish skin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. Polished steel scabbard, fairly dent free, minor age staining.
