Item #69698 : Original period manufacture. A very clean example of the US Army Officers dress sword, model of 1902. Horstmann logo on the ricasso. triple etched blade with the owners name on the reverse side of the blade, Colley S. Baker Jr. The blade measures 30 inches in length with no issues. Overall the sword is in exceptionally clean condition, displaying just the slightest hint of wear and use. The owner was born in 1919 and died in 1981, serving in the US Army from 1941 to 1945. He was a graduate of the Valley Forge Military Academy.
