Item #69554 : Original period manufacture. Brass shell casing which stands 9.25 inches in height. Opening at the top measures 2.5 inches. Hand engraved on the body of the casing is the following, June 4 1928, 5 40 am, 8th US Cav, Fort Bliss Tex. The base is marked Winchester Repeating Arms Company, New Haven Conn. with a date of 8 98.
