Original era manufacture. A well made sword based on a German Fusilier pattern, with a ring on the pommel.The polished steel blade measures 29.5 inches in length, running fairly straight and true, with just a tiny bend towards the tip, and a few tiny nicks in the edge. On both sides of the blade are ornate engraved designs, with the obverse design displaying the star and crescent moon of the Ottoman Empire. The blade spine displays the retailers name, Kirkor. M. Narian & Freres, Constantinople. Simple singe branch guard & pommel of brass, with pronounced langets, one of which displaying the Ottoman emblem. Black plastic wrapped grip, bound with triple strand wire. No scabbard.
