Original era manufacture. Classic Ottoman Empire award of the Great War, also known as the Iron Half Moon, or Crescent. Enameled obverse, with a pinback reverse, which is maker marked on thepin base, BB&Co.No enamel damage, silver patina finish to the metal portions of the star. Many Austrian and Germansoldiers received this award for their service during WWI.
