Item #69563 : Original period manufacture. Nice quality scarlet wool coat with black wool straps, collar and cuffs. Heavy gold brocade trim on the collar and cuffs, with all GG buttons remaining. Loops for a medal bar on the upper left chest. White cloth quilted lining with the lower section done in red cloth. Most of the original paper issue tag remains and is legible. There are a few scattered moth bites but really nothing concerning. Wear and fraying to the collar lining Overall a very handsome coat, wonderful for display, just wish it was named. Size about a 38.
