Item #65008 : Original era manufacture. British WWII officers four pocket coat displaying 7th Armored divisional insignia, collar and shoulder devices for a Royal Engineer officer in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Six place ribbon bar on the upper left chest to included awards of two Military Crosses along with the campaign stars for North Africa and Italy. Well worn from polishing Royal Engineer buttons throughout, size about a snug 40. Brown silk lining which shows wear and repairs in spots, no interior pockets, tailors tag or visible name. The exterior of the coat exhibits honest age and wear, with four pencil eraser size moth holes appearing under the right arm, with a few smaller ones on the back. Overall the coat has an honest, vintage patina to it, no evidence of being a put together coat. All of the ribbon have been handsewn to the coat.
