This is a 1/6 plate Union Case with two different floral designes on front and reverse.The case is in very good condtion with only the corners being rounded. Inside it says "Patent Applied For."The image is a ruby ambrotype of a seated lady with her hoop skirt spread out on both sides of her. She has a chain attached to her belt and a ring on her finger. Her bow tie is outlined in white.She rests her arm on a book which sits on top of a floral table top.
