Original era manufacture. Very clean, 32 inch curved steel blade, with blue panels, decorated with fire gilding, extending up from the base of the blade. On the obverse side is a gilt arc bearing the name of W.H. Horstmann & Co.The blade runs straight and true, with no corrosion issues, with a beautiful luster to the steel and about 90% of the blue and gilding remaining intact.  Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel; leather wrapped grip bound with triple strand twisted copper wire. Steel patina finish to the scabbard body, two suspension bands with rings, H&S stamped on the drag, light denting to the surface edge below the throat.
