Original era manufacture. A nice quality early production miniature sword/letter opener which measures 13 inches in overall length. Stamped into the reverse of the scabbard is Huntsville Ala. Multi-piece construction guard and separate grip which is bound with twisted brass wire. Perhaps a Spanish-American War souvenir.
