Original era photography. Fresh from a local estate, is this un-plundered CDV album of 50 original photographic images; CDV's, tintypes in a variety of styles, men, women, children, a Civil War Surgeon (Harvey Mann, possibly 26th Ill Infantry) and best of all, a tintype image of two young armed men in Western attire. Most of the images are identified as to the individual pictured, with several being of a young man named Henry Mann, or referred to as Grandpa Mann. In the Cowboy image, Henry is the man standing on the right, and in the album, a CDV image next to the Cowboy photo is another image of him with a Wichita Kansas backmark. The two armed men in my opinion, appear to be the real-deal, each wearing a revolver in a slim-jim holster on their hips, proper boots, with that great "look". These two are not posing with photographers props, they look like they know their business. Great research potential for those individuals interested in early Kansas history.
