Original era manufacture. A patriotic medallion produced to honor the return of the Liberty Bell to the city of Philadelphia from its journey to New Orleans in 1885.The Crescent City was host to the Worlds Fair that year,  The Worlds Industrial & Cotton Exchange Centennial. This loan of the Liberty Bell to New Orleans marked one of only 6 other occasions when the Bell was loaned out for display, its last journey was in 1915.Double sided alloy medal of 35 mm, brass eagle suspension pin.
