Original period manufacture. A very sound exampleshowing verylight age and wear. The leather sweatband has the Horstmann contract stamp on it's reverse, no extra holes in the felt body, all brass insignia intact,no flaking to the leather edge trim. Size marked 7. Only detractions are a few minor bumps to the crown and a small tear in the sweatband leather.
