Original era manufacture. Private purchase example with a Philadelphia makers name printed on the black cotton lining. Dark blue wool body with a removable light & dark blue wool band. Gilded brass crossed rifle insignia on front, black leather chinstrap with gilt eagle side buttons. The hat is clean, no moth issues and is size marked 6 7/8.
