Original period manufacture. A very clean example, 28 inch chromed finish blade with etched panels on each side. English style makers mark with a tiny disc marked "PROVED"on the reverse of the ricasso. Nickel finished guard showing an old patina, black composition material grips. Steel scabbard which is dent free and looks to have been cleaned at some point. Very sound sword overall.
