Original era manufacture. A very ornate silver colored alloy two-piece medal as worn by an alternate delegate of the Democratic party to the National Convention in Denver in 1908. It is quite large, and has a bit of a heft to it, and likely had a ribbon involved in its construction but that portion is long since gone. The Alternate bar measures 70x33 mm with a pinback reverse, and the eagle measures 60x45 mm.
