Item #63642 : Original era manufacture. Dondero marked two piece enameled DI, featuring a stricken airplane on the Pennsylvania Keystone, pinback reverse. Included with the DI at the time of our purchase is a sterling marked man's ring bearing the same emblem on the face of the ring. Enamel damage as shown on the ring, finger opening measures 18 mm. The 213th has a distinguished lineage with the Pennsylvania National Guard beginning in 1874. During WWI, reorganized and re-designated, it served with the 28th Division in France as an MG Bn. Re-designated and consolidated in the early 1920's as a Coastal Artillery Unit, 213th, it served in Italy until September 1943 when it was broken up. Reconstituted in 1959, it still serves with the PNG today but with a different DUI.
